Hello, thanks for reaching out. I have conflicting information on these, so I asked the manufacturer and they are looking into this for you. I should hear back from them tomorrow (Thursday May 28th). To the best of our knowledge, the Responsive Respiratory Elongated Adult Aerosol Mask does not contain HDPE. According to the manufacturer, the mask and tubing are made from a PVC blend, which is common for this type of oxygen mask.
If the patient is highly sensitive to specific materials or chemicals, they should consult a physician before full use. A physician may recommend a patch test or short-term trial to help check for possible sensitivity or reaction to the mask materials.
